Like a snake...

Canada's Metal Queen gets into the Hollywood dance. It's 1989 and hard-rocknroll has a wall to wall grip on the air-waves ...even up North. In complete symbiosis, with power and passion: Lee Aaron sings it, we rock it.

Instant sick slick, as "Nasty Boyz" and "Yesterday" spits-out loud decibels. Arenarock wide, "Rock The Hard Way" makes sure the biker-crowd is properly fed. The monstrous MONTROSE "Rock Candy" reprise gets a facewash, just like "Rebel Angel" and the equivalently rough "Tough Girls Don't Cry".

The skin-thigh black velvet of "Sweet Talk" serenades with it's suave seduction, while the no-hold bitch-slappin' of "Whatcha Do To My Body" is enough to make the Richter Scale squeal.

Gaining traction from the more serious poprock of 1987's Lee Aaron LP, the party-factor was now upped. High-gain production and higher-gain attitude, Lee was set for the upper echelons.

CRIA-certified 2x Platinum, the kink-factor shall keep pouring-in on 1991's Some Girls Do CD. That's one cool Karen !

In unison with 1989's Bodyrock LP, more sweet talk hard-rocknroll is here. The powerline is under high-tension as live current runs freely. Might not be a Texas outlaw, yet Lee Aaron feeds sweet poison with a spoon.

Badassery on cue, as "Some Girls Do" kicks un-kicked asses aplenty. Fully shameless and loud mouth, Lee screams rock rebellion on "(You Make Me) Wanna Be Bad" and the red hot "Can't Stand The Heat" ...while we are kindly reminded to keep "Hands Off The Merchandise". Fine adrenaline rock.

Always "Crazy In Love", the band electrifies RUFUS's classic "Tell Me Something Good" with crunchy overdrive. Riff-raffin' with the teasin' 'n pleasin' "Sex With Love" single and the late-nigh funny games of "Tuff Love" is where Adelaide Street turns into Sunset Strip.

Summer 1991: hardrock's last call.

CRIA-certified Platinum in Canada, Juno nominee and Metal Queen appointed, sadly the industry-landscape was set to change in face of the incoming Seattle tsunami. Always hardrockin' to the very edge of decency, Lee Aaron's call of the wild shall bring forth 1994's Emotional Rain CD.
