APARTMENT 26
2000 - Hallucinating.
way more Helter Skelter.

May 16, 2000 - 2025: 25 years of: Hallucinating.

Millennium-metal.

Mathematically precise, high-gain guitars and explosive rhythms. Same old formula, yet now matched with digital-technology and street-edge grind, as this road ends in an aural massacre. Great Britain now responds to the American nümetal scene, walk this way and please enter the APARTMENT 26.

Through reverse-engineering, this loud industry cracks the fourth wall "Backwards". Ultra hyped, the crush of "Doing It Anyway" and the face-slasher of the titletrack of "Hallucinating" paints a modern attacks on the senses.

The single for "Basic Breakdown" soiled the airwaves, while the metal-poundings of "Anymore" and adrenaline of "Apt. 26" provides new extremes. The sick sub-bass of primal-beats of "Death" kept the pulse into the danger-zone.

Ulrich Wild produced, this young band sounds both organic and cutting-edge, sharp and clinically defined. WHITE ZOMBIE, NINE INCH NAILS and KORN left a mark, and now, these fruits are fully bloomed to dangerous perfection. The future of hard-music or just another new alternative, only time will tell.

In the meantime, APARTMENT 26 and the young Biff Butler, son of Geezer, led band would present their next and final offering: 2004's groovier Music For The Massive CD.
