HOLOCAUST
1981 - The Nightcomers.
way more Helter Skelter.

April 1981 - 2026: 45 years of: The Nightcomers.

Another English powersurge.

In a head-rippin' string of LPs, the United Kingdom dominates. 1980 and now 1981 shall forever be synonymous with the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal. This time, from the depth of night, Scotland supplies the goods ...this is going to be a fakkin' HOLOCAUST !
"Got me an electric guitar. I'll show you were the good times are."
An instant overload, as "Smokin' Valves" burns coal across Great Britain. Alive and adolescent, the hot rebel-rock of "Heavy Metal Mania" and "Come On Back" blew away the few remaining punks out there. Shades of darkness appears on the moody "Death Or Glory" and the monster crunch of the title-track for "The Nightcomers". High on adrenaline the band keeps "Push It Around" with overdriven attitude, as also exposed on "It Don't Matter To Me".

The scene was now completely engulfed in the wave: Heavy-fukkin-Metal mania !

Onstage and on-fire, 1983's Live (Hot Curry & Wine) LP exposed the crowds to dangerous particle radiations. Always in full rage and always decibel savvy, HOLOCAUST's fallout shall now cover the globe, with 1984's No Man's Land LP.

RIP Robin Begg (1963-1990)
