Another sting.

After 2003's hot Enemies Of Reality CD, these divine dead hearts were some of the few serious acts producing trend-bending American metal ...NEVERMORE leads the air-strike !

Locked in kill-mode, the fast "Born" and "Final Product" are modern-metal machine-gun assaults. From a rotten generation, the darkness arises from this "Bittersweet Feast", while the melodic mood-metal of "Sell My Heart For Stones" paints a different side of the band.

Burned on contact, "My Acid Words" shouts an honest hate, as the power-thrash stomp of "Medicated Nation" and "The Psalm Of Lydia" mixes moshpit and high melodies.

During the revival of the new metal-millennium, the band now featured added chug from Steve Smyth on extra guitar and later replaced by the familiar Chris Broderick. Touring on the inaugural Gigantour 2005 US / CAN trek, along MEGADETH, DREAM THEATER, FEAR FACTORY and other oddities, NEVERMORE were in the zone.

Through hell and back, after some solo-releases, the reunited band would present their swansong: 2010's The Obsidian Conspiracy CD.

The last NEVERMORE.

After the divine effect of 2005's This Godless Endeavor CD, more muscle would be flexed. Between good and evil, the fine machinery of NEVERMORE now spreads dark conspiracies.

A massive tone with massive impact ..."The Termination Proclamation" is hailed. More cutting-edge metal is spat as "Your Poison Throne" rises high and on the deviant ravage of "Without Morals".

Brutally and melody is displayed on "Moonrise (Through Mirrors Of Death)", while the speed-burst of the title-track for "The Obsidian Conspiracy" is a another powerful showcase of American-metal. The notable somber "The Blue Marble And The New Soul" powerballad, is a deep trek, reminiscent of very early QUEENSRYCHE euphonies.

Andy Sneap mixed, nihilistic and nefarious, NEVERMORE are at the top of their game and delivers top-quality metal. Sadly through band arguments, the unit would dissolve following the tour.

Even with the current 2025 Jeff Loomis and Van Williams re-activation announcement, The Obsidian Conspiracy forever is, the last ever NEVERMORE, as frontmen Warrel passed away in 2017.
