The last NEVERMORE.

After the divine effect of 2005's This Godless Endeavor CD, more muscle would be flexed. Between good and evil, the fine machinery of NEVERMORE now spreads dark conspiracies.

A massive tone with massive impact ..."The Termination Proclamation" is hailed. More cutting-edge metal is spat as "Your Poison Throne" rises high and on the deviant ravage of "Without Morals".

Brutally and melody is displayed on "Moonrise (Through Mirrors Of Death)", while the speed-burst of the title-track for "The Obsidian Conspiracy" is a another powerful showcase of American-metal. The notable somber "The Blue Marble And The New Soul" powerballad, is a deep trek, reminiscent of very early QUEENSRŸCHE euphonies.

Andy Sneap mixed, nihilistic and nefarious, NEVERMORE are at the top of their game and delivers top-quality metal. Sadly through band arguments, the unit would dissolve following the tour.

Even with the current 2025 Jeff Loomis and Van Williams re-activation announcement, The Obsidian Conspiracy forever is, the last ever NEVERMORE, as frontmen Warrel passed away in 2017.
