Beautifully avantgarde ...and somewhat extreme.

On a roll after 2020's über brutal I Disagree CD and 2021's Eat MCD, the seed was now fully bloomed. The in-limbo scene was ready and yet fully unannounced, new newmetal gets facewashed by the bitter sweet Poppy.

Remove the scary mask.

Hypnotic build up into deep alt-metal, as the title-track for "Flux" and "Her" progresses into unkown territories. A iron fist inside a velvet glove, as "So Mean" rocks with FM pop-rockabillia vibes, while pure punk is shouted on "Lessen The Damage". More ethereal khaos bleeds on "Hysteria" and the dreamy electronica of "As Strange As It Seems". The highly powerfull and deeply personnal closing-track for "Never Find My Place" sets the record straight with some recent past toxic relationships.

Once Internet weirdo to now trend-bending icon.
Angelic and Demonic, she is the impropable Poppy.

Lurking between metal and industrial, Poppy's updated skin is the perfect antidote to the current nonsense currently fed by all medias. Pushing limits to the breaking point, decibel-meters would be put to the test with 2022's Stagger MCD and 2023's full eclectic Zig CD.
