Menacing, modern and muscular, this new generation does NOT accept your shit. Washing aside the superflux of the 80s, a new rock-hard format was about to set the pace for this new decadent decade. L.A. strikes back, but with a new kind of hardrock. Kids of all ages, please welcome to the rock-arena: RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE.

The fuse is lit.

C-4 blasts in an instant as "Bombtrack" explodes and spreads the word out. Metalized funk performed by angry young men on a mission, while the leading floor-filler single "Killing In The Name" brings jump-rock to new heights. Loud and lively, this assault is real.

Edgy and reality clashes with pride and metal-tones on "Settle For Nothing". This motley crew pushes more street-grooves on "Bullet In The Head" and the audacious juggernaut of "Know Your Enemy". The closing-track "Freedom" yells out the aingst, with a ska-background. Lewd and powerful, the music is clear, real and relevant, the message is clear.

Focal point of Lollapalooza 1993, this exhibition deconstructed America and rapidly, the RIAA-certified 3x Platinum plateau was achieved. Gggarth Richardson produced, this slab is now the new bench-mark in modern-rock ...step aside Seattle, the new alternative is here.

Revendication and revolution through rock, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE did ignite this morphing scene with a melting-pot of MCing and raw-metal cuts. Musically post FAITH NO MORE and PRIMUS and pre SYSTEM OF A DOWN and LIMP BIZKIT ...this ultimate mix was the shit. More attitude would be released on their 1996 Evil Empire CD.
