New-York City in the mid 70s, where disco ruled. Yet from some dark back-alleys arose four teens, not only to save rocknroll, but also spearhead an underground movement. From the ashes of acidrock and the attitude of 50s rockabilly, a madness coated in bubblegum-pop danceable choruses. Totally stripped-down attitude ...the sounds, the looks and roots of American punk comes from the RAMONES.

"Hey ho ! ...let's go !" The pretty:
Take a peak into their softer side with "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend", basically early BEATLES in ripped-jeans and black-leather. And now girl "Listen To My Heart" and gimme another chance, while I walk through the corner of "53rd And 3rd" ...trust me baby, I was just passing by.

The loud:
Cut through the crowd straight into the mosh-pit, when pogo-dance was about to be a thing. Yield your "Chain Saw" and make a statement, these suburb punks surely did. Say it loud, that little she-devil "Judy Is A Punk", as nothing shouts loud as the appropriately titled "Loudmouth".

The ugly:
The explosive instant riot of "Blitzkrieg Bop" is one way to test one's sound-system's threshold. Shout along as the filth and the fury of "Havana Affair" breaks down walls on cue. And how 'bout some free baseball-bat violence on the up-lifting "Beat On The Brat". Over hype your brain and take a deadly whiff, as "Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue" is, the greatest song ever.

From the grungy CBGB to your local Forum ...this is quintessential rock !

RIAA-certified Gold, the boys's dirty legacy was secured in rocknroll's history-books. Now 50 years young, the RAMONES is way beyond music. It's brand crossed-over into the mainstream, into pop-culture and deeper in it's core audience: disgruntled teens worldwide.

The fuckin' RAMONES: real, raw and relentlessly loud. Our rebels would spit out more DIY bop with 1977's Leave Home LP.
