RATT
1990 - Detonator.
way more Helter Skelter.

August 6, 1990 - 2025: 35 years of: Detonator.

Blow the roof off !

West-Hollywood in 1989-90, the EPCOT Center for debauchery and sleaze-rock. Bad-boyism done right, after 1988's Reach For The Sky LP, the city sewers would still ooze of the almighty RATT.

From kink to killer, this brutal facewash is plain "Shame Shame Shame". Kicking ass and gettin' away with anything, the attitude-meter hits 11 on both "Lovin' You Is A Dirty Job" and the contagious rush of "Scratch That Itch".

Hot riffraffing and "One Step Away" from stardom, their game was always a "Heads I Win, Tails You Lose" deal.

RIAA-certified Gold, yet the writing was on the wall ...as 1990 would be hardrock's last glorious calendar-year. Their last leg of the tour even featured Michael Schenker as replacement for Robbin Crosby. Disbanding during the Seattle-era, to eventually partially reconnect, RATT would sneak out of the cellar with 1999's Ratt CD.

RIP Robbin Crosby (1959-2002)
