Unannounced and heartfully welcomed: classicrock in the 2010s. Not from New-York, not from London ...but from the wild streets of American hardrock: Los Angeles. After 2010's self-titled MCD, the globe would get rocked by some RIVAL SONS.

Like a freight-train, the band is "All Over The Road". Pushing RPMs to ear-bleeding levels, the hard rocking "Young Love" and the serious title-track for "Pressure And Time" draws a line in the sand.

From vintage to virulent, heavy riffing and powerful lead-vocals are presented on the boogie of "Get Mine" and the dirty vibes of "Save Me". Firmly climbing the mountain of hardrock, they leave chaos behind, as they "Burn Down Los Angeles".

Signed to Earache Records, known for their past deathmetal roster, RIVAL SONS's rebel rock is a fresh outlook on past counterculture heroes. Rooted in tradition and weaponized with modern crunch, real classicrock is lit again.

The ghosts of the British Invasion have arose in the West-Coast. More decibel would pour aplenty, with 2012's Head Down CD.
