A rocknroll communion.

After 1988's In God We Trust LP, the Holy Ones would rebrand and adopt a simpler approach. Stripping away the vivid colors and Bibles, here's an updated version of the yellow and black attack, a new STRYPER.

Still shaking the Altar, these bad-boys are "Against The Law". Burning frets with loud attitude, the cool "Two Time Women" and even cooler air-raid of "Rock The People" delivers the goods. There's more Hell to pay, with the speedmetal riffraffin' of "All For One".

Playing on the fine line between good and evil, Mr. Sweet reminds us that he's "Not That Kind Of Guy", while the powerballad of "Two Bodies (One Mind One Soul)" is a uniting calling. The surprising reprise of EARTH, WIND & FIRE's "Shining Star" is a fun-funk oddball, but fear not, real Marshall-meltdown is present with "Ordinary Man" and Caught In The Middle".

Playing the West-Hollywood overdrive game to a tee, a divine change ...yet without Holy results.

1990's scene was showing saturation and fan-fatigue for arenarock. Poorly voted with low over the counter sales and later disintegrating in 1992, the soldiers under God's command would later reunite in 1999, in live-format only ...only to be fully reborn on tape in 2005.
