TYGERS OF PAN TANG
1980 - Wild Cat.
1981 - Spellbound.
way more Helter Skelter.

August 23, 1980 - 2025: 45 years of: Wild Cat.
Another entry ...from the animal kingdom.
After the SCORPIONS, WHITESNAKE and recent LEPPARD, hard-rocknroll now presents: the TYGERS OF PAN TANG.
The gates gave in, the riot is imminent, as the loud assault of "Euthanasia" and "Slave To Freedom" rings. Young and obnoxious, these "Wild Catz" really want "Money". Overdriven classicrock by testosterone, the raw "Insanity" feeds the backstreet "Killers" with a purpose, as the bass-lick of "Fireclown" spreads fear into the competition.
England's ultimate sucker-punch: The New Wave Of British Heavy-Metal.
The year is 1980 and the island would be swarmed by ANGEL WITCH, IRON MAIDEN, GIRLSCHOOL and the motorcycle men of SAXON ...a brutal take-over ...a neat experience.
Don't touch 'em there, these TYGERS OF PAN TANG are of the untamed kind. The next roar shall bite harder with 1981's Spellbound LP ...featuring a certain John Sykes.

April 10, 1981 - 2026: 45 years of: Spellbound.
A feline fury.
Fully afire after 1980's Wild Cat LP, Northern England's undomesticated ones shall not be silenced. Focusing on Round Two, the band would upgrade with new singer Jon Deverill and guitarist John Sykes ...these are the new TYGERS OF PAN TANG.
From the streets, this "Gangland" riot is rebel filled ...come and "Take It". Hard ripping rocknroll is traded with "Silver And Gold", while the rabid "Tyger Bay" resonate like an H-bomb. A lovely riffraffing, as "The Story So Far" and the luck of the draw "Blackjack" electrifies on cue and in unison, amps are pushed to the limits on devilish "Hellbound" metalized arenarock.
A rough revolution from the United Kingdom ...a tide-changing wave.
Striking the bell twice during 1981, the TYGERS OF PAN TANG would deliver more sharp clawed decibels with November's Crazy Nights LP.
RIP John Sykes (1959-2024)
