America's Midwest attacks West-Hollywood, as 1988's Vixen LP brought a new outlook on hardrock. Perms and make-up, finally worn by actual lovely ladies ...rockin' to a hard beat, this is the second strike from VIXEN.

Loaded with RPMs, the band "Rev It Up", armed with a "Bad Reputation" ...this slick motley crew rules the Sunset "Streets In Paradise". From hot adrenaline to the hot arenarock "Hard 16" and MTV-single of "How Much Love" remains a staple for the scene ...while the melodramatic powerballad for "Love Is A Killer", licks the sweet blood off the knife.

High-quality hooks with hard hearts, VIXEN dwelled in 1989-91's hardrock, the final era. Everything changed in Autumn 1991, as well as the band's split. Disbanded ...to eventually reunite with a different line-up to release 1998's Tangerine CD.
