June 20, 1995 - 2025: 30 years of: Foo Fighters.

Neo-grunge.

Not missing a beat after the heartbreaking events of April 1994 ...Dave Grohl shall not remain silent. Picking up all the instruments, these solo-demos rapidly became a full post-grunge juggernaut. Ready for battle: these are the FOO FIGHTERS.

Stand up: "This Is A Call". Loud and dirty, the grime shall hit the fan with "Wattershed", the metalized "Weenie Beenie" and the doom-finalé of "Exhausted". The slick-cool "For All The Cows" is quality build-up hard stuff, similar to the hot MTV leading-single for "I'll Stick Around".

The grungy midpaced "Alone + Easy Target" and "Oh, George" both tease the mainstream, while the now FM-staple "Big Me" up-beat ballad, is an immortal 90s classic-cut.

This is the new war-cry for the alt-scene.

This unusual encounter of the third kind shall soon bloom into an arenarock takeover. The mid 90s received a heavy dose of loud guitars and the FOO FIGHTERS did provide an entry-level inside this new wave of alt-punk-rock-metal. Other players in this metrics includes GREEN DAY and KORN.

RIAA-certified Platinum, from behind the drums to band frontmen, Grohl was now leader of the post-Seattle scene. More fat tones and abrasive rebellion shall rear it's ugly head with 1997's The Colour And The Shape CD.
