August 9, 1969 - 2024: 55 years of: Helter Skelter.

Two nights that would terminate peace and love.

Shaking America's fiber to the very bone and spiraling society in a haze. Fully possessed by THE BEATLES's 1968 White Album double-LP, Charles Manson and his family of friends and devoted followers would push counterculture to the extreme.

Both nights at the wee hours of August 9 and August 10, the rich and exclusive Los Angeles hills would be bloodied to a pulp. Both ritualistic massacre of the Tate and LaBianca murders, were sadistically executed, to make sure the reaction would be as gruesome as their Head Chief. The words "Pig", "Rise", "Death To Pigs" and "Healter Skelter" were scribbled with the victim's blood.

Total desecration, seven innocent people would be brutally killed within 24hrs.

The motive, in Charlie's mind: to create fear, retaliation and hate towards the black-community that would lead an eventual race-war to explode. And after the dust had settled, the Manson Clan would rise up and easily conquer what's left of the few survivors. His grand scheme was entitled: "Helter Skelter" ...based on the almost heavymetal song by THE BEATLES.

From religion to fanaticism, the Manson murders are deeply rooted in America's pop-culture, the true side of incarnated evil. The hazy space-rocked 70s were initiated with the assassination of beauty-star Sharon Tate ...all the way to the destruction of teens via punk-rock. A full decade of both real horror of many high-case serial killers as well as movie mysticism.

The Sharon Tate / Roman Polanski mansion was later sold and eventually rented by Trent Reznor in the early 90s, where recordings by NINE INCH NAILS and Marilyn Manson occurred. The house was later destroyed and the address: 10050 Cielo Drive, was erased and re-labeled from the city-map.

The Manson Family was convicted to the death-penalty, which was later revised to life-sentence by California Law. To this day, Leslie Van Houten aged 74 is the only member ever to being released, she was paroled in 2023. Charlie died in jail in 2017 at the age of 83 ...yet his cult is still alive.
