The last-call !

After 1992's alternative-takeover, the Sunset Strip was stripped to the bone and left for dead in a ditch. To make matters worst, some key bands were disintegrating right before our very eyes. After a string of "Fuck yous", Rat Daddy would race back to the top, one last time ... Vince Neil now calls the shots, here's life after MÖTLEY CRÜE. Oh and on guitars, the atomic playboy of the era, top-player: Steve Stevens.

A fast jab kicks you in the nuts, chin up and "Look In Her Eyes". All elements are on fire, from the metal-riffing to the rolling thunder-drums ...and Mr. Stevens on the laser-gun, literally. The fun gets rowdier on "The Edge" and the fiesta of "Fine, Fine Wine". The scene got an early taste of Vince on the Summer 1992 Encino Man soundtrack-cut "You're Invited (But Your Friend Can't Come)", proving the crew wrong with a sticky sweet hardrock party-track. And even more sweet is provided, as SWEET's "Set Me Free" gets the Hollywood treatment ...boosted to eleven.

The leading MTV-single "Sister Of Pain" cyber video is a hard-stomper, featuring sizzling adult film-star Janine Lindemulder, while the sugary hit "Can't Have Your Cake" features soon-to-be world's most famous hottest blonde: Pamela Anderson. Hail Vince and his girls, girls, girls !

Dr. Feelgood's ultimate drug of choice, the wow-factor is strong here. Contrary to a Nikki Sixx statement, Neil did not leave rocknroll to pursue race-car driving. The Exposed CD is a hard explosion of wild rock and good vibes, the best CRÜE album you haven't heard ...sadly the times were not akin to the 80s-format.

True slave to the grind, it didn't take long for Vince to shout back at the Devil, on tour with the energized VAN HALEN in 1993. His second solo-offering would take a turn into the mid 90s industrial-signature: 1995's ill-fated Carved In Stone CD ...before the inevitable miscalculated MÖTLEY-reunion of 1997.
