September 14, 1993 - 2023: 30 years of: Judgment Night.

Get ready for many made in hell cage-matches.

The early 90s, a bedlam in the alt-scene. All genres were morphing within ...and then some were morphing together. A mere five years ago, no rock-journalists would've imagined such a lethal mix: hiphop and heavymetal tearin' shit up hand in hand ...thank you ANTHRAX, you're tha man !

The forgettable come and gone Judgment Night street-drug movie flopped at the box-office ...but it's street-drug soundtrack would set a new standard in extremes, especially in America: Rap-Metal was now official !

The hybrids of all-stars are as follow:
HELMET and HOUSE OF PAIN, breaks the law with the Glock-hot "Just Another Victim" and their counterpart in PEARL JAM along CYPRESS HILL kicks real ass with "Real Thing". Vintage legends RUN DMC tags along new legends LIVING COLOUR and rocks the house on "Me, Myself & My Microphone". Familiar ground and always ready for a new challenge, ONYX and buddies BIOHAZARD slams the competition once again, with the killer title-track "Judgment Night" Mike Tyson uppercut-punch.

The slaying continues on with the unusual FAITH NO MORE and BOO-YAA T.R.I.B.E. mix of "Another Body Murdered", while more big butts are worshipped on MUDHONEY and the almighty SIR MIX-A-LOT's "Freak Momma" ...and extra fuckin' mojo goes out to SLAYER and ICE-T for electrifying / updating THE EXPLOITED's "War + UK 82 + Disorder" aural speedmetal massacre.

Not all alternatives comes from Seattle. A unique one off and RIAA-certified Gold, a changing of the guards: the stage was now set for the mid 90s and the ensuing hip nümetal chaos takeover.
