July 9, 1991 - 2026: 35 years of: Operation Rock & Roll.

Another type of clash.

Nevermind Lollapalooza, this is it. Where Clash Of The Titans was Spring 1991's metal-mosh mania, this one would set a new standard in on the road rocknrollin'. A new decade, a new skin, a new vibe ...and some Delta legends are cracking the seal.

On top of the world, the royalty of JUDAS PRIEST and majesty of Alice Cooper were iron-clad and leading the way. Always looking for a good time, the bastards from MOTÖRHEAD made sure to send ear-drums to die, while the new school of DANGEROUS TOYS and METAL CHURCH kept the ass-kicking to an above level of bad-assery.

Operation Rock & Roll: united and saluting the US Forces stationed in the Persian Gulf, with live rocknroll. The era's last gathering. Unbeknown to these artists and their fans, hardrock and heavymetal would be stomped by some Seattle punks in a mere three months.

Yet ...this leathered operation would be the genesis of what would become the upcoming hard caravans of the mid 90s, namely Warped Tour, OzzFest and Family Values.
