Finally ...a tribute to the Gods.

After a decade and a half of silence, the immortal Ozzy-era of BLACK SABBATH gets a royal salute. All their peers gathered at the Altar, to sign away their souls for rocknroll.

What is this, that stands before them ?

In a who's who in current metal, from NYC streetmetallers BIOHAZARD and WHITE ZOMBIE ...to made-up supergroups featuring Bruce Dickinson, Wino, Rob Halford and a certain Geezer.

Some acts are deadly precise and accurate on recreating the original vibe, as in CORROSION OF CONFORMITY's "Lord Of This World" and SEPULTURA's "Symptom Of The Universe". And there's also room for Al Jourgensen's hyperactive 1000 HOMO DJs ...and the black #1 doom of TYPE O NEGATIVE.

RIAA-certified Gold, Nativity In Black, cements the appreciation for the Osbourne + Ward + Butler + Iommi union, that made all of these band, become bands in the first place. Total worship.

Setting the pace for the real masters of reality, the reunited Ozzy Osbourne-led BLACK SABBATH would eventually spring back onstage in 1997.

2000's later Nativity In Black II, shall not be as spontaneous as the initial strike. BLACK SABBATH, creators of all things heavy, but you already knew that.
